At our Retreat, we explore methods and strategies to equip educators with tools designed to inspire and empower the next generation, preparing them for life’s diverse challenges.
The core framework of this Retreat centres on the 3Rs: Reading, Reflection and building meaningful Relationships. Your primary objective will be to read and collaborate as a group to create a 25-page flip-chart capturing your key reflections. The Retreat provides actionable tools to drive change at your school.

“The Good Schools Alliance Learning Forward Retreat at the Fig Tree Cottage in Dehradun was a wonderful learning experience for me. The Retreat focused on reading different texts and sharing our thoughts. One of the most interesting parts was creating our reflections on the flipchart, which allowed us to organise our thoughts creatively and connect with fellow educators.
The Retreat made me realise that reading is much more than understanding words on a page. It is about thinking, questioning and finding meaning in what we read.
The experience has motivated me to continue exploring books and nurturing a love for reading.

Charges
Venue, accommodation and details
- Venue: Joy of Learning Studio at My Good School, Dehradun.
- Accommodation: Fig Tree Cottage or Deepshika Hotel, depending on availability.
- Group Size: 4 guests only.
- Duration: 3 days and 2 nights.
- Charges: Fixed at Rs. 60,000 for the group. Includes pick-up/drop-off from the railway station; boarding and lodging; and rooms on a twin-sharing basis.
- Extra charges for an additional day: Rs. 15,000.
- An invoice shall be provided.
