Special Projects

Experience the enriching journey of personal and social growth with #JoyOfGiving.

In 2012, William N Bissell, founder of The Fabindia School, invited Sandeep Dutt to help the school build a culture of trust and learning. The turning point in our lives and the foundation for My Good School, the Learning Forward India professional learning programme and numerous pioneering initiatives seen at the Good Schools Alliance (GSA). Our mission is to ensure every child receives an outstanding education. Equal access to resources is crucial for nurturing future leaders, so we provide our Special Projects with open access to all our programmes and support their learning needs.

The Teachers Academy Project

Professional Learning Programme (PLP)

The Teachers Academy, a national teacher capacity-building initiative, focuses on continuous professional development (CPD) to ensure long-term system-level improvement rather than one-off school-based outcomes.

The Doon School Old Boys’ Society (DSOBS) teacher capacity-building pilot project at the Arthur Foot Academy has delivered measurable, scalable and sustainable impact. Trained teachers multiply the value of the original grant year on year, making it a strong example of high-impact education philanthropy.

The Doon School Old Boys’s Society is a member of the Good Schools Alliance

Financial Literacy Project (FLP) for Educators

Program Philosophy: Every student’s journey to success requires mastering financial literacy. We simplify complex concepts into engaging lessons, empowering teachers to help students manage money wisely and achieve their dreams.

Training-the-Trainer: Train teachers at schools, predominantly women, who significantly impact children’s life skills.
