The Teachers Academy Project

Professional Learning Programme (PLP)

The Teachers Academy, a national teacher capacity-building initiative, focuses on continuous professional development (CPD) to ensure long-term system-level improvement rather than one-off school-based outcomes.

The Doon School Old Boys’ Society (DSOBS) teacher capacity-building pilot project at the Arthur Foot Academy has delivered measurable, scalable and sustainable impact. Trained teachers multiply the value of the original grant year on year, making it a strong example of high-impact education philanthropy.
