The Teachers Academy

Professional Learning Program

The Learning Forward India (LFIN) Professional Learning Program is a collaborative initiative designed to transform school culture through continuous, evidence-based professional development.

Core Pillars of the Program

  • The “Good Schools” Philosophy: The program advocates for schools to be happy, inclusive spaces where the focus shifts from mere academic coaching to holistic “learning for life.”
  • •Collaborative Networks: It leverages the Good Schools Alliance to create a “network of networks,” allowing educators across India to share best practices and peer mentorship.
  • Service-Oriented Leadership: Under Brinda Ghosh and Sandeep Dutt’s stewardship, there is a heavy emphasis on building leadership capacity at all levels—from students to principals—to foster a culture of agency and accountability.
  • We help schools in India build capacity to design, facilitate and assess professional learning that aligns with the Standards for Professional Learning and improves educator and student outcomes.
