My Journey with the Good Schools Alliance
Manisha Khanna
Joining the Good Schools Alliance initially focused on enhancing my teaching and professional development. However, it transformed my journey, encompassing personal and professional growth.
The Alliance deepened my understanding of teaching, challenged my assumptions, and encouraged self-awareness, thoughtfulness, and intentionality in my interactions with students and colleagues.
A valuable aspect was learning critical thinking, strengthening decision-making, problem-solving, and encouraging experimentation and continuous learning.
As a teacher, I’ve become more reflective and confident, recognising that meaningful education involves building relationships, creating a safe environment, listening to students, and empowering them to think independently.
The Alliance’s journey contributed to my personal and professional growth, providing new perspectives, renewing my purpose, and inspiring continuous improvement.
